The requirements for chips are determined by the combustion technology. It is important to produce defined grain sizes to the top and to the bottom in order to avoid on the one hand blockages in the heaters and on the other hand high ash portions.
For that purpose, the lock-washer screen R6 or in larger machines the lock-washer screen S6 is perfectly suitable.
The lock-washer screen R6 is an option for the Terra Select Trommelscreen.
The R6 extends the trommel by an additional fraction, if required. As a result, the Trommelscreen can be used for many materials. If the customer needs the third fraction, he also installs the R6 screening deck.
The lock-washer screen S6 is the latest development in the field of mobile recycling. It has been developed for large machines with high throughput rates. By using lock-washers made of steel, a much better cut and finest separation in the range of 0-5 mm is achieved in contrast to the customary star-type screening technology.
